Performance Management Incentive

Mission Statement
The mission of the Performance Management Incentive (PMI) program is to encourage professional work that benefits Thompson R2-J students directly through academic and enrichment activities, and indirectly through organizational support.
PMI provides compensation for professional activities that are not otherwise compensated through the salary schedule, extra duty contracts, outside agency pay, course credit, student fees, or compensatory time.
All PMI submissions are reviewed by a committee of professional peers and are supervised and governed by Human Resources.
Who is Eligible for PMI?
Licensed staff may participate in the Performance Management Incentive (PMI) program and earn additional compensation, paid in June of the current school year, if they meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Hold a valid license and receive an overall rating of Proficient or higher on the Thompson School District (TSD) Educator Effectiveness evaluation, or have been granted evaluation portability from another Colorado school district (refer to your evaluation).
- Complete a minimum of 40 hours of eligible PMI activities within a single school year.
- Are not on a leave of absence during the time PMI hours are accrued.
