External Learning Opportunities

Thompson School District recognizes and awards TIC and/or Relicensure Hours for external learning opportunities. These include and are not limited to offerings by: 

• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Development 
• CBOCES
  • Colorado EL PD - Complete with 19 courses of various lengths (average 2 to 3 hours) tied to ELL standards with a total of over 54 clock hours of available credit.  Most trainings are provided by CDE and WEEAC of the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
  • eNet Learning Online - Offering reading modules that will not count towards the CDE Read ACT requirements but serve as quality refresher PD for teachers, PARA Educators, and substitute teachers.
