All 260-day employees shall be entitled to annual vacation leave. The district shall observe twelve holidays. Six of the holidays shall be: Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Memorial Day. Any other holidays will be approved by the Board of Education when it adopts the calendar for the following year.
Holidays for Twelve Month Employees (2026-27)

*District Central Office will be closed for the winter break from Monday, December 21, 2026, through Friday, January 1, 2027. Twelve-month employees have the option of taking available leave or taking a pay deduction for those days not designated as holidays. Designated holidays are: December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, 2027.
The five additional days during the 2026-27 Winter Break will be unpaid, December 21, 22, 23, 28,
and 29. All 12-month (260 day) employees must use one of the following four options to cover
these days. Please remember that all winter break pay docks will be taken from the January (December dates) 2027 paycheck.

- Compensation Time (Classified Only) / Flex Days (APT only)
Due to variances in the 2026-27 calendar, there are more than 260 potential work days (261). Since 260-day employees aren’t paid to work more than 260 (8 hour) days per year an adjustment to the work year is needed. Therefore, in order to allow employees to plan, please note the following:
December 30, 2026 is a non-work day for 260-day employees.
