Open Enrollment

Welcome to Thompson School District's Benefits Open Enrollment!

Open Enrollment will begin on Monday, April 27, 2026 and end on Monday, May 11, 2026. All changes made during open enrollment are effective July 1, 2026.

Due to high utilization over the past 18 months, the Joint Insurance Committee (JIC) has recommended plan design changes to all three district health plans. These adjustments allow us to mitigate a projected 13.5% premium increase, bringing it down to a more manageable 9.8%.

What You Need to Know:

  • Mandatory Election: Because all three medical plans are changing effective July 1, 2026, all employees currently enrolled in a medical plan must make an active election. * Default Enrollment: If you do not make an active selection by May 11, 2026, you will be automatically enrolled in the PPO Select 2 plan.

  • Exceptions: If you are enrolled in the Hospital Reimbursement Plan (HRP), no action is required unless you wish to change your coverage.

  • Dental & Vision: There are no changes to dental or vision plans. As a reminder, these plans remain "unbundled," allowing you to enroll dependents in any combination of medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Enrollment will be completed in the CEBT Community System.
